Kehilat Sar Shalom is a family-centered Messianic Community dedicated to teaching and living out the Jewish Roots of our faith in Messiah Yeshua. It is our goal to provide a place of fellowship and an atmosphere of spiritual growth for believers of every ethnicity. We strive to identify with our Jewish heritage through the celebration of the Word of God, its Feasts and instructions.
We are a Messianic Synagogue, made up of Jews and Gentiles from many races and ethnic groups. We worship the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob through His Son Y'shua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah). We believe the Messiah has already come in fulfillment of many prophecies from the ancient Hebrew Scriptures. We are rediscovering the roots of the Judeo/Christian faith that the entire universal congregation of Messiah and the New Covenant faith are founded on.

We are a group of Torah-observant followers of Yeshua meeting every Erev Shabbat (Friday night) in Bloomington, Minnesota. "In that day I will restore fallen tabernacle of David—I will repair its broken walls and restore its ruins— and will rebuild it as it used to be, so that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations that bear my name.” declares the LORD, who will do these things. -Amos 9:11-12 We believe that God is drawing Jews and Gentiles back to his commandments as part of the restoration of Israel. The whole assembly became silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul telling about the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them. When they finished, James spoke up. “Brothers,” he said, “listen to me. Simon has described to us how God first intervened to choose a people for his name from the Gentiles. The words of the prophets are in agreement with this, as it is written: "After this I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tabernacle. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it, that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who bear my name, says the Lord, who does these things." -Acts 15:14-18 Remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands)— remember that at that time you were separate from Messiah, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Messiah Yeshua you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Messiah. -Ephesians 2:11-13
