For the Restoration of All Things

. Posted in Teachings.

Today is Day 40 of counting the Omer till Shavuot (Pentecost) and it marks the anniversary of the Ascension of Messiah Yeshua. As we continue on toward the Feast of Shavuot may we be of one accord in the power of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) to be His witnesses until His Kingdom comes and His will is done on earth as it is in heaven.

" '…you will receive power when the Ruach HaKodesh comes upon you; you will be my witnesses both in Yerushalayim [Jerusalem] and in all Y'hudah [Judah] and Shomron [Samaria], indeed to the ends of the earth!' (Acts 1:8 CJB) "And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight" (Acts1:9 KJV).

As Yeshua went up in the clouds, we are told to look for Him to return in the same manner. While we wait for the return of our King, our commission is to go and, “teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always[s], even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 29:19-20 KJV)

In teaching the nations, we are to call them to repentance and cause them to turn (or return) to the Covenant of the God of Israel . "Repent therefore and return, that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus [Yeshua], the Christ [Messiah] appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time." (Acts 3:19-21)

The Apostles of Yeshua longed to know when He would restore the Kingdom to Israel. It was the last burning question of their hearts as they saw Him ascend into heaven. When He returns depends on when His bride is ready. When He returns it will be cloudy day. He will come as a Shepherd who seeks out His flock and “will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day” and “will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country….” (Ezekiel 34:12-15)

As we prepare for Shavout, let us prepare as a Bride, in anticipation of our coming Husband, who will rule and reign from Mount Zion as the King of all the earth. Then will all the nations ascend up to the mount of the Moedim [Feasts of the LORD] and will gather together in Jerusalem to worship Him.
